AKLAN – A 42-year-old man in Banga town here was caught in alleged possession of suspected shabu and a firearm during a raid at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19.
The suspect was identified as alias “Yan”, a resident of the said place.
Officers of the Banga police station carried out the operation hrough the strength of a search warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in Barangay Daja Norte, Banga.
Recovered from the suspect was a caliber .38 revolver with four ammunition and two plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately one gram.
The suspect is currently detained for proper disposition./PN
