‘Shabu’ worth P250,000 seized in Banago drug op

BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P250,000 was recovered in an antidrug operation in Barangay Banago.

The suspected illegal drugs contained in seven plastic sachets were seized from the 30-year-old Peter John Majometano and 18-year-old Benjie Villador, both residents of Banago, a police report showed.

Majometano and Villador were caught after they allegedly sold shabu to a poseur-buyer around 1 a.m. on Thursday.

Antidrug personnel from Police Station 3 staged the operation.

Aside from the suspected shabu, P500 cash and drug paraphernalia were recovered from Majometano and Villador, police said.

The suspects were detained in Police Station 3’s lockup cell.

They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
