BACOLOD City – A man was shot in Barangay Tampalon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 25-year-old resident Welnard Geroche sustained a gunshot wound on the right arm, police said.
According to police investigators, Geroche and his friend were homebound when an unidentified suspect shot him around 10 p.m. on March 30.
Geroche was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital here for medical treatment.
As of this writing, officers of the Kabankalan City police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the shooting./PN
