Shorter curfew in Negros Occ.

BY DOMINIQUE GABRIEL BAÑAGA

BACOLOD City – General curfew hours in the province of Negros Occidental would be retained, albeit shortened, according to Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Majority of the local chief executives backed the shortened curfew – 12 midnight to 4 a.m., he said.

Currently, the curfew is from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The 12 midnight curfew, though, will cover adult. The minors’ curfew will begin at 10 p.m.

Lacson said he would release an executive order relative to this anytime this week.

Bacolod City, meanwhile, has yet to announce if it would lift the current 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew./PN
