Sibalom opens one-stop-shop biz registration process

ANTIQUE – Application and renewal of business permits are now accessible at the Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) established by the local government unit (LGU) of Sibalom.

BOSS, located at the Sibalom municipal hall, is open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Licensing officer Romulo S. Magallanes of the town’s Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) said BOSS is ready for the influx of clients this January.

The office expects 1,000 clients for the renewal of business permits alone.

The one-stop-shop is managed by different government agencies and LGU offices, including the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Sibalom Fire Station, Engineering’s Office, and Municipal Health Office, among others.

Magallanes urged business owners to not wait until the last week of January before processing.

The licensing officer warned against businesses that continue to operate without permits.

The Sibalom LGU has been organizing the BOSS since 2018.

BOSS is in line with the implementation of Republic Act 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business Law. (With a report from Nutriskwela Radyo Kaabyanan)/PN
