ILOILO – Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) federation elections in 42 towns and the component city of Passi in this province were generally peaceful, according to the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
“I am pleasantly surprised. There were no controversies. The municipal SK federation elections went smoothly,” said DILG-Iloilo director Teodora Sumagaysay.
The elections were held on Tuesday.
The SK municipal federation presidents would sit as ex-officio members in their towns’ Sangguniang Bayans (SBs). They are the following:
