BACOLOD City – Slain Northern Negros Electric Cooperative (Noneco) general manager, Atty. Danny Pondevilla, was buried on Monday afternoon, Dec. 26.
Prior to his burial at the Rolling Hills Memorial Park, a mass was held at the Redemptorist Church in this city.
The burial was also attended by Noneco officials and employees, Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) officials, and several local politicians.
Pondevilla was also previously the general manager of Ceneco.
The Noneco official was shot dead on Dec. 21 on 16th Lacson Street.
The Bacolod City Police Office formed a Special Investigation Task Group to probe the power executive’s murder.
Pondevilla, fondly addressed as “GM Dan”, finished his undergraduate studies in AB Political Science at age 21 and passed the bar at 25./PN
