SM CITY ILOILO UNVEILS IMAX LASER TECH THEATER THE FIRST IN VISAYAS & MINDANAO

Just in time for the holi-dates, the City of Love welcomed another cinematic innovation. Remarkably redefining movie experience for the Ilonggos, SM City Iloilo unveiled on Wednesday, Nov. 15, the IMAX Theater.

The cutting- edge 20×11 meters screen featuring 4K Laser Technology boasts higher image resolution and sharper, wider range of colors. Its multi-channel sound system delivers greater dynamic range and precision audio.

The 500 plush rocker seats Offer a truly luxurious and comfortable stay. Of these, three seats with motorized lifter are dedicated for persons with disabilities.

Mayor Jerry Trenas, who graced the launching together with councilors Candice Tupas and Sedfrey Cabaluna, expressed his excitement for the whole-new-level immersive viewing.

“This innovative treat for the Ilonggos reflects your tireless support in making our beloved city a happy and enjoyable place for everyone. SM City Iloilo is also one of the city government’s biggest single corporate sponsors for Dinagyang Festival 2024.
