ILOILO – A 49-year-old man was shot dead following an argument during a drinking binge in Sitio Taruc, Barangay Tabug, Alimodian town.
Alias “Lito”, a resident of the said place, succumbed to four gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body at Aleosan District Hospital.
The suspect identified as alias “Jean”, 31, and a resident of Malamboy- Bundolan, Alimodian, was arrested and detained at the Alimodian Municipal Police Station (MPS),
Police said Lito and Jean’s father, alias “Noy”, had a heated argument prompting the former to get a knife to stab the latter.
However, Jean defended his father and shot Lito, police added./PN
