BACOLOD City – Members of the Sangguniang Panglungsod (SP) ratified the two contracts of agreement with the IPM- Construction Development Corporation (IPM-CDC).
The contracts consisted an amount of around P256 million for “environmental and sanitary services.”
The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) conducted the bidding for the “collection, hauling and disposal of garbage in the city”; and also “management, operation and maintenance of sanitary landfill.”
Mayor Evelio Leonardia signed the contracts after the corporation was selected by the BAC.
IPM-CDC consultant Horace Yap said the contracts are effective from May 2 until December 13.
The corporation has been in contract with the city around the same time Leonardia became City mayor in 2016.
The previous contract between IPM-CDC and the city government will end by April 30./PN
