ILOILO City – He was drunk when he stabbed a laborer in Barangay Tigayon, Kalibo, Aklan, police said.
The 32-year-old resident Henritch Dela Cruz was arrested and detained in the lockup facility of the Kalibo municipal police station.
Dela Cruz allegedly stabbed the 43-year-old Mariel Oquendo – also a resident of Barangay Tigayon – around 10 p.m. on Saturday.
Oquendo sustained three stab wounds. He was brought to the Kalibo District Hospital for treatment.
The motive in the stabbing was not immediately clear./PN
