Sunday fire hits commercial establishment

ILOILO City – Fire struck a commercial establishment in Barangay Our Lady of Fatima, Jaro district yesterday, leaving about P3.2-million damage.

The blaze started around 2:28 a.m., razing some offices of the building owned by Thomas Chengchua, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

Totally burned offices were the Pataginian Enterprises (owned by Joanna Amboy) and Asia Pacific Safety Industrial Supply, while those partially damaged were the Pacific Sun Manpower Services, Precious Salon, and Spa and Sunny Dormitory.

The cause of fire is yet to be determined./PN
