ILOILO – Four persons died while two others were injured in three separate motorcycle mishaps on Sunday in this province.
In Barangay Nanga, Guimbal, Rodel Rodrigo (driver) and Rowen Nudalo (back rider) were heading towards San Joaquin town when the former reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
The accident happened around 7:15 a.m.
The two were brought to the Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial Hospital in Guimbal; Rodrigo died.
Around 3:10 p.m., Mark Angelo Jorge was doing a motorcycle “exhibition” in Barangay Aripdip, San Rafael when he hit the left side of a car running the opposite direction, police said.
Jorge also succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Capangyan, Lambunao, two motorcycles collided around 9:50 p.m.
Drivers Reggie Lobia and Freths Catedrilla died.
Lobia’s back rider Joel Casabuena, on the other hand, was recuperating at a hospital in Lambunao./PN
