BACOLOD City – A construction worker landed in jail after allegedly stabbing a fellow worker in Barangay Zone 10, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 59-year-old resident Reggie Magbanua was drunk when he attacked the 33-year-old Joemar Peñasas around 11:45 p.m. on Dec. 25, police said.
Peñasas, also a resident of Barangay Zone 10, sustained a stab wound on the chest.
He was rushed to the Talisay City Health Unit and later transferred to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for further treatment.
Magbanua, on the other hand, was arrested and now in the custody of the Talisay City police./PN
