CAPIZ – Police arrested a 25-year-old man during a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Carida, Tapaz town over the weekend.
Alias “Totong,” a resident of the town’s Barangay Agcococ, was caught by officers of the Tapaz Municipal Police Station after he handed suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P1,600.
Police seized four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing around 15 grams and with an estimated standard street value of P102,000. Also recovered were a cigarette foil, a black coin purse, and a motorcycle.
The suspect was taken into custody by the Capiz Provincial Forensic Unit, along with the confiscated items, for proper documentation and disposition
He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
