ILOILO City – A taxi accidentally collided against an armored van at the Delgado-Valeria intersection in City Proper. Both vehicles were damaged.
The crash happened at around 10 a.m. on Sunday while the taxi was trying to turn left, a police report showed.
Its driver – Narciso Gado, 53, of Barangay San Jose, Molo district – failed to notice the succeeding armored van also heading toward the same direction, stated the report.
The armored van belonged to the Davao Security and Investigation Agency, Inc.
Jemar Morales, a 39-year-old resident of Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao, was driving it.
Gado and Morales were not hurt.
But the taxi was damaged on the front while the armored van incurred damage on its left panel, the police report stated./PN
