ILOILO City – Someone bashed her on Facebook, a 19-year-old resident Lapuz district told the police.
A deriding comment caused Glezz Clarise Pios of Barangay Mansaya “great fear and anxiety” she had to report it to the La Paz police station, a police report showed.
According to Pios, the comment on her photo was made at around 6:48 p.m. on April 12 by the account “Lai Sayam.”
Writing in a mix of Hiligaynon and English, the commenter accused Pios of, among others, having an attitude “worse than a demon’s” despite being an educated person.
Pios reported to the police on April 18, or six days after she said the comment was posted.
The commenter also called Pios “very ugly” and a “Negra” (a black woman), and said the complainant’s character was “darker than your skin color,” the police report stated.
“Wala ka labot kon may bata na ’ko. Ikaw sobra ka pa sa bigaun. Kuno inosente pero indi na virgin (That I already have a child is none of your business. You’re worse than a slut. Looking innocent but no longer a virgin),” added the commenter.
