BACOLOD City – A 25-year-old man was arrested by tanods of Barangay 19-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental for allegedly stealing telecommunication cable wires.
Gerald Alvarez of Barangay 13, Victorias City was caught taking away about eight meters of cable wires.
His two other companions, who were his brothers Errol, 27, and Jemer, 30, evaded arrest.
The cable wires were owned by Victorias Telecom System Incorporated.
Also recovered from the suspect were cutting pliers and a wood saw.
The suspect was detained at the police station./PN
