ILOILO City – Police arrested a 54-year-old man facing theft charges in Barangay Julia, Libacao, Aklan.
Resident Eleuterio Zagales had been hiding from the police for a year.
Zagales was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant around 8:25 a.m. on Oct. 5, police said.
He was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
The court recommended a P6,000 for Zagales’ temporary liberty./PN
