ILOILO – More than P108,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from two drug suspects around 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, in Barangay 1 Poblacion, Tigbauan town.
Tigbauan police identified the subject of the operation as alias “Onyok,” a resident of the aforementioned barangay, and alias “Thor” of the town’s Barangay Dorong-an.
According to Police Captain Jeorge Lenantud, chief of Tigbauan police station, the buy-bust operation was carried out inside Onyok’s house.
Police recovered a total of 16 grams of suspected shabu.
The suspects, detained at the Tigbauan police station, are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
