TORONTO Raptors are now up 2-0 versus Brooklyn Nets in their 2019-2020 National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs best-of-seven series.

The defending champions struggled versus Brooklyn most of the time but were able to outplay the latter in the final quarter to win,104-99, on Wednesday night (Thursday in Manila).

Toronto’s heroes during the showdown were Fred VanVleet with 24 points and 10 assists, Norman Powell with 24 markers and Kyle Lowry with 21 points and nine assists.

Boston Celtics, on the other hand, slammed Philadelphia 76ers, 128-101, to take a 2-0 advantage in their showdown.
Jason Tatum led the Celtics with 33 points.

Utah Jazz, meanwhile, defeated Denver Nuggets, 124-105, to tie the series at 1-1.

Donovan Mitchell dropped 30 points while Filipino-American Jordan Clarkson recorded 26 markets for Utah.

Dallas Mavericks, for its part, leveled the series with Los Angeles Clippers at 1-1 following a 127-114 Game 2 victory.

Slovenian Luka Dončić paved the way for Dallas with 28 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
