Treñas consistently led three previous surveys conducted this year by RACI on March 16-18 (first survey), July 27-29 (second survey) and Sept. 14 to 16.

Before joining the House of Representatives in 2010, Treñas served as Iloilo City mayor for three terms (2001-2004, 2004-2007, 2007-2010).

“Since I started as a public servant I have tried my best to excellently answer the needs of the Ilonggos. I will continue to do so,” he said in a previous interview.

The Ilonggo solon promised to “make sure we can sustain the development in Iloilo city and province.”

The survey results inspired him “to do more”, said Treñas./PN
