ILOILO City – A tricycle driver was shot in Barangay Poblacion Ilawod, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
The 44-year-old Felix Ayroso of Barangay Cruz, Barotac Nuevo died. He was hit on the stomach.
The suspect was a fellow tricycle driver – the 48-year-old Joel Casumpang of Barangay Salihid, Barotac Nuevo – a police report showed.
An argument about picking up passengers happened prior to the shooting at a carinderia (eatery) around 11 a.m. on Aug. 6.
Casumpang was arrested and detained at the Barotac Nuevo police station./PN
