ILOILO City – Police arrested a “trigger-happy” man in Barangay Camando, Leon, Iloilo.
The 21-year-old John Mark Calcetas indiscriminately fired an improvised 12-gauge shotgun around 10 p.m. on Feb. 3, a police report showed.
Officers from the Leon municipal police station responded to the village after receiving a report.
They confiscated the gun after Calcetas failed to present a license.
Detained in the lockup facility of the town’s police station, the suspect faces charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
