ILOILO – A truck loaded with sand turned turtle in Barangay Jaguimitan, Passi City yesterday afternoon, August 11.
Initial police investigation revealed that the truck driven by alias “Noe” was traversing an inclined slope of the road when its engine allegedly malfunctioned and the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
The truck slowly rolled backward and fell on its side.
Noe and his helper managed to jump out of the vehicle. They were unharmed.
However, the fence of a house where the truck fell was damaged.
As of this writing, authorities were still investigating the exact cause of the accident and the circumstances surrounding it./PN
