ANTIQUE – Two street-level drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Purok 2, Barangay Atabay, San Jose de Buenavista town.
Joint operatives of the Antique Police Provincial Office’s (AnPPO) Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and San Jose Municipal Police Station Station’s (MPS) Drug Enforcement Unit caught aliases “Julie,” 40, and “Apple,” 38, both residents of Barangay Supa, on Saturday afternoon, June 15.
Police recovered a total of four sachets of suspected shabu valued at approximately P97,500 and P5,500 in buy-bust money.
Also seized was the suspect’s Suzuki Swift vehicle.
The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of San Jose MPS, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
