ILOILO City – For possessing unlicensed firearm, a man was nabbed in Barangay Lonoc, Leon, Iloilo.
A .45-caliber gun with two magazines and 13 live ammunitions were seized from resident Nicolas Camit, a police report showed.
The Leon police served the 45-year-old Camit a search warrant around 6:20 a.m. on Nov 9.
He failed to show pertinent papers showing legal ownership of the weapon, police said.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act will be filed against Camit./PN
