ILOILO City – Region 6’s most trusted and reliable survey firm, Random Access Consultants, Inc. (RACI), released its newest survey results showing the inevitable victories of Cong. Julienne “Jam-jam” Baronda, Mayor Jerry Treñas and Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon.

Baronda leads with 64.7% over the second placer who merely got 34% despite the rabid sustained attacks and propaganda against the congresswoman. This means six in every 10 voters will choose her over the challenger.

Baronda also leads across both sexes, all age groups and in all districts. The second placer needs to woo 99,141 voters of the city’s 330,470 registered voters to close the 30.7% margin.

Mayor Treñas, meanwhile, is in full throttle with 80.8% while his challenger is miles away biting the dust at a mere 18.8%. This means eight in every 10 voters are going to choose one of the country’s best local chief executives over the second placer.

Vice Mayor Ganzon got 85.5% while his contender is at the far end with only 14.2%. For every 10 voters, eight will choose Ganzon while one might pick the second placer. The other 1% are the undecided voters.

Baronda got 53.3% of those who finished elementary, 66.7% of those who had or who finished high school, and 62% of those who were in college or graduated from college.

She also captured 57.6% of those who belong to social classes A, B, C while she has even more voters among those in the D and E classes with 65.4%.

Meanwhile, Baronda also bagged the majority support with 65% of the voters living in Arevalo, 68.9% of the voters residing in the City Proper, 66.7% of the voters from Jaro, 62.9% of those from La Paz, 52% of those from Lapuz, 62.9 of those from Mandurriao, and 66.4% of those from Molo.

Eight in 10, or 75% of Baronda’s likely voters, said they will not change their choice anymore.

With the machinery of their group as well as the popular support in the barangays, the triumvirate is destined for victory and would be impossible to dislodge from their current posts with only two weeks to go before the May 9 polls.

“It will take a miracle like how Moses parted the Red Sea for Baronda’s challenger to snatch her post away given the fact that after four months of intensified campaigning and black propaganda, he barely scratched off 5.6% from her. She’s formidable. In two weeks, she will be reelected,” a political observer who requested for anonymity told Panay News.

RACI, which has accurately predicted the results of the local elections for two decades now, employed its tested and proven formula surveying 600 respondents in 60 barangays using the multi-stage probability sampling method on its scheduled survey on April 23, 2022.

The survey has a plus/minus 4% margin of error and 95% level of confidence./PN
