Villar tops latest RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. survey

UNITEAM senatorial candidate and former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) secretary Mark Villar remains amongst the top choices for senator in the latest survey results from the RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) for the upcoming May 2022 election, with a 74.6% voter preference.

The RPMD survey conducted from April 28 to May 2 showed Villar as the top choice of the 10,000 respondents using face-to-face interviews nationwide. It has a (+/-) 1% sampling error margin for national percentages.

The next 11 behind Villar (74.6%) were Senate hopefuls Antique representative Loren Legarda (68.1%), broadcaster Raffy Tulfo (64.7%), Sen. Win Gatchalian (60.2%), Sen. Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri (53.6%), and Sorsogon governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero (51.8%).

Ranking 7th to 12th place were former House Speaker Alan Cayetano (47.3%), Filipino film actor Robin Padilla (45.1%), former senator JV Estrada Ejercito (38.6%), former senator Jinggoy Estrada (36.5%), former vice president Jejomar “Jojo” Binay (34.2%), and Sen. Gringo Honasan (32.7%).

Close behind the Magic 12 were former Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro (32.5%), Sen. Risa Hontiveros (30.4%), Sen. Joel Villanueva (28.1%), former Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista (25.7%), Sen. Dick Gordon (22.6%), former senator Antonio Trillanes (19.3%), former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque (19.1%), former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Guillermo Eleazar (18.5%), Sen. Leila De Lima (17.2%), Astravel “Astra” Pimentel-Naik (15.4%), Atty. Chel Diokno (13.6%), Atty. Lorenzo Gadon (12.5%), and Cong. Rodante Marcoleta (10.1%)./PN
