ILOILO City – A heated argument led a woman to stab her husband in Barangay Banban Pequeño, Calinog, Iloilo.
The 49-year-old Arlyn Serra, a councilwoman of the said village, admitted stabbing 53-year-old Danilo, a police report showed.
According to the police, the stabbing happened around 7 p.m. after a heated argument ensued between the couple. But it was not immediately established what triggered the altercation.
Danilo was brought to the Calinog District Hospital for a stab wound on the body.
Arlyn, meanwhile, turned herself in to authorities. She was detained in the lockup cell of the Calinog municipal police station./PN
