BACOLOD City – A woman allegedly killed her supposed lover in Barangay Magallon Cadre, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
The 49-year-old resident Marilyn Bargayo was accused of fatally stabbing sugarcane worker Rene Lusaran, 48.
Police investigators said the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 26.
Lusaran, who was apparently inebriated, figured in a heated argument with the knife-wielding Bargayo.
The suspect turned herself in to the Moises Padilla police station.
The victim’s body, meanwhile, was taken to a local mortuary for a “post-mortem” examination./PN
