ILOILO City – A woman was caught over bouncing checks in Barangay Hibao-an, Pavia, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Police identified the suspect as Kristine Patpat of Barangay Cabalabaguan, Mina, Iloilo.
Patpat was nabbed around 7 a.m. on July 1, the report added.
The suspect faces charges for two counts of violation of Batas Pambansa 22, the law penalizing the making or drawing and issuance of a check without sufficient funds or credit.
Patpat was detained in the lockup cell of the Pavia police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P3,000 for one count of the charge but did not do the same for the other charge./PN
