ILOILO City – A 41-year-old woman claimed that her father choked her.
Mealodee Grace Cortez of Barangay Zamora, City Proper told the police she experienced neck pain because of this.
Cortez said she and her 64-year-old father Rudy Mendoza were in the middle of an altercation on Blumentritt Street, Barangay Muelle Loney when the latter charged at her.
The incident happened at around 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 16, a police report stated.
Mendoza cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Officers referred the dispute to the barangay lupon./PN
