ILOILO City – A 21-year-old man tagged as the No. 3 most wanted person in Western Visayas was arrested in Barangay Colongcolong, Ibajay, Aklan.
Alias “Mark”, a resident of Barangay Cabalagnan, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, was caught on October 6 by virtue of a warrant of arrest for five counts of rape. He was also listed as the No. 2 most wanted person in Guimaras.
The suspect was turned over to the Nueva Valencia Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Police Regional Office 6 director Brigadier General Josefino D. Ligan lauded the operating units for the successful operation.
“The Philippine National Police will not relent in its pursuit of justice. Those who choose to evade the law will eventually be held accountable for their crimes.
