BACOLOD City – Two women were nabbed in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Barangay Lo-oc, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Christina Tangon, 22, and Arlene Belandres, 44, both residents of Dumaguete City, were arrested by the operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Negros Oriental Intelligence Unit, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, and Dumaguete police.
Police said the suspects sold one plastic pack of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer in exchange for P200.
Also recovered were three plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated market value of P78,000 pesos; a small brown leather pouch containing one plastic pack of suspected shabu; and P200 marked money./PN
