 BACOLOD City – A 6-year-old boy drowned around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday at a mountain resort in Barangay Camindangan, Sipalay City.

Chief Inspector Romeo Vargas identified the victim as Jero Permel, a resident of Barangay 5 in the city.

Investigation said the boy was left unattended when he went to the swimming pool.

The victim was with his grandparents and other relatives during the incident.

Police also disclosed that the resort had no lifeguards and that the management is still facilitating the documents for operations./PN
