ILOILO City – For possessing an unlicensed firearm, a resident of Barangay Mansacul, Sigma, Capiz was arrested.
Rey Dela Cruz, 35, was facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
Officers armed with a warrant searched his house yesterday and found a .45 pistol and a magazine loaded with six live bullets, a police report showed.
Dela Cruz was taken to the Sigma police station where he was detained at around 6:05 a.m., the report stated./PN
