BACOLOD City – A man died while another was injured in an accident around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday in front of the Cadiz District Hospital in Barangay Daga, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
Inspector Rocky Desear, chief of the Cadiz City police, identified the casualty as Regienald Hinggaray, 22, and the injured as Allan Iwayan, 36.
Iwayan, a bus conductor, was waiting in front of the hospital for a Ceres bus when Hinggaray, driving a motorcycle, accidentally hit him.
Hinggaray was thrown off his motorcycle and sustained head and body injuries.
He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared “dead on arrival.”
Iwayan sustained broken legs and wounds. He was treated in the same hospital but later transferred to another hospital in this city./PN
