ILOILO City – He was driving a tricycle on a road in Barangay Buntatala, Jaro district when he figured in an accident.
Scott Alabe, a Sangguniang Kabataan chairman of Barangay Tagbak, also in Jaro district, sustained bruises on the body, a police report showed.
Alabe’s four other companions who were onboard the vehicle meanwhile were all unharmed.
According to the police, the incident happened around 7 a.m. on Friday.
Alabe was driving the barangay-owned tricycle when he lost control and hit a stone, causing the vehicle to turned upside down.
The Iloilo City Emergency Response team immediately treated Alabe and eventually permitted him to go home./PN
