ILOILO City – Two men from Jaro district were hospitalized after they were allegedly mauled by 10 unidentified men in a restobar in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao.
John Paul Paciente, 23, and Fritz John Janeo were brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center, a police report showed.
They were binge drinking at Simburyo when the suspects threw empty liquor bottles at them and slammed them on a bamboo table.
Paciente sustained a fracture on the left elbow while Janeo had abrasions on the neck, arm and shoulder, police said.
The suspects escaped on board a tricycle after the incident around 2 a.m. on June 4.
Police said the victims told them they could identify the suspects if they see them again./PN
