BACOLOD City – This year’s MassKara Queen beauty pageant is an interschool competition among 11 young ladies between the ages of 16 to 23.
The Association of College and Universities of Negros Occidental (ACUNO) held a press presentation of the candidates yesterday at Business Inn Hotel. They were:
* Ancella Denise Anne Pastias, sophomore student of STI-West Negros University taking up Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management
* Dessa Jane Dangallo, sophomore at the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos taking up Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
* Erika Joilee Patayon, Grade 11 student of Negros Occidental High School
* Giorgia Melissa Dacules, nursing student of Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod
* Janine Pearl Casilao, student at Visayan Maritime Academy Global College taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
* Lyka Legaspi, student of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College – Alijis Campus taking up Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
* Maria Angela Clarisse Estioko, a sophomore Physical Therapy student at Riverside College
* Marie Frances Araneta, Secondary Education student at La Consolacion College
* Qliczyll Claire Castino, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration student at Bacolod City College
* Valerie Escamilla of John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation taking up Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management
* Pink Erica Genolos of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College – Talisay City taking up Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
The beauty pageant will be held at STI-West Negros University gymnasium on Oct. 15, 4 p.m., said ACUNO president Ditas Joson.
