ILOILO City – An 18-year-old man was killed in a shooting incident in Barangay Inagdangan Norte, Zarraga, Iloilo.
Resident Lorie John Sualibios died while being treated at a hospital in this city. He sustained
a gunshot wound on the back of his body, a police report showed.
The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Reden Suay, also a resident of the village, it added.
The incident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 24.
According to police investigation, the victim was walking in the said area together with his cousin when they met Suay. The suspect then fired at them with no apparent reason.
Police were looking into personal grudge as the motive in the shooting.
Suay was arrested and now detained in the lockup cell of the Zarraga police station, facing charges./PN
