ILOILO City – Near the barangay hall of San Isidro, Jaro district an 18-year-old lad got shot.
Jerry Taño was rushed to the West Visayas State University Medical Center around 8:35 p.m. on Sept. 27.
From what the police so far gathered, the shooting was accidental.
According to witnesses, 40-year-old Andrew Bautista inadvertently dropped a gun and this went off. The bullet hit Taño.
Bautista fled, witnesses said. As of this writing, his whereabouts were unknown.
Taño got hit on his left foot.
Responding policemen failed to recover any firearm at the scene of the incident./PN
