ILOILO City – Two teenagers from Barangay Dawis, Balasan, Iloilo tagged in a robbery case face illegal drug charges, too.
In Barangay Merced, Banate town where arrests were made yesterday around 1 a.m., sachets of shabu were recovered from the suspects.
One of the teenagers was 18 years old – Jerico Jaromay. The other was 16 years old.
A sachet of shabu was seized from Jaromay while two more were found in his companion’s possession.
Both suspects in the robbery of 66-year-old Rex Villareal in Barangay Merced were detained at the Banate police station.
According to the police, there was a third suspect in the robbery but 29-year-old Raymund Bargamento managed to flee./PN
