BACOLOD City – Two employees would be charged with theft for allegedly stealing copper wires at a power plant in Barangay Camansi, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The suspects, Adrian Ambayun and Orly Vargas, were residents of Ilog, Negros Occidental and assigned at the electrical maintenance department.
Police said security guard Elmer Basilio caught Ambayun during an inspection at the exit area around 5:15 p.m. on July 23. Recovered from him were 3.5 kilos of copper wires worth P1,050. He was detained at the police station.
