BACOLOD City – Police arrested two women in a drug sting operation in Barangay 27.
They were Cherryl Salmingo, 44, and Trisha Salmingo, 19, all residents of the village, police said.
Suspected shabu weighing about 2.8 grams valued at around P20,100 was recovered from their possession, the police added.
The suspects were nabbed after they allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 on Nov. 19.
They were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 7, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
