ILOILO City – Three men ganged up on a tile setter at the Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao district, a police report showed.
The 32-year-old John Soliven, a native of North Cotabato and currently living in Barangay Bolilao, Mandurriao, did not know who his attackers were and why he was attacked, police said.
All he knew was the suspects suddenly appeared while he was walking at the Iloilo Business Park in Barangay Old Airport, Mandurriao at around 12:55 a.m. on Sept. 15, and hit him with an unidentified hard object on the head, said the police.
Soliven sustained a laceration on the head. He was taken to the nearby Western Visayas Medical Center.
The victim said he would know how his attackers looked like if they see them again. Investigation into the attack was ongoing./PN
