3 ‘pushers’ nabbed in San Carlos, Cadiz

BACOLOD City – Police arrested three suspected drug dealers in San Carlos City and Cadiz City in Negros Occidental.

Caught were Joseph Pasigay, 41, and Maria Rizyl Abilla, 23, both of Barangay 6, San Carlos City, and Rodolfo “Lagumbay” Arroyo, 53, of Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City.

Police recovered from Pasigay and Abilla 4 grams of suspected shabu worth an estimated P48,000, drug paraphernalia and P500 marked money.

Operatives from the San Carlos City police station and the Regional Mobile Force Battalion of the Police Regional Office 6 staged the buy-bust against them at the Scarlet Pension House in Barangay 2, San Carlos City on Tuesday.

The San Carlos City police station took them in custody.

On the same day in Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City, Arroyo was arrested by the local police, said station head Chief Inspector Rocky Desear.

Three sachets of suspected shabu worth P2,500 and a P500 buy-bust money were seized from him. He denied owning the substance.

Arroyo was detained at the Cadiz City police station custodial facility.
