AKLAN — A total of 3,337 Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) in Aklan received cash incentives for 2025 during a two-day distribution held at the ABL Sports Complex on March 24–25.
Of the total beneficiaries, 1,787 came from the province’s Eastern District, while 1,550 were from the Western District.
The provincial government allocated approximately P19.7 million for the incentives as recognition of the BHWs’ dedication and invaluable service in their respective communities.
The distribution was led by Gov. Jose Enrique M. Miraflores, along with other provincial officials, who expressed gratitude to the health frontliners for their continued commitment and sacrifices.
