ILOILO City – One person died and another was wounded in a shooting incident in Barangay Calao, Dumangas, Iloilo.
The 36-year-old Rhodney Doloritos Jr. of Barangay Sapao, Dumangas sustained a gunshot wound on the body and died, a police report showed.
His friend Chris Drilon sustained an injury on the head, the report added.
According to police investigators, an unidentified suspect shot Doloritos around 10:45 p.m. on July 28.
The suspect then pistol whipped Drilon when he tried to help Doloritos, police said.
Officers of the municipal police station have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in the shooting./PN
